In this fully remote role, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States through video visits, live chats and secure messaging — all supported by Curai's advanced AI-powered clinical technology and proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) system. What You'll Do As a 1099 contract physician, your clinical responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Conducting comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for patients across various ages and backgrounds through text-based, and video visits Managing and coordinating care for chronic conditions Providing preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results Prescribing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations Handling referrals and prior authorizations Accurately and thoroughly documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR) Completing compliance tasks in a timely manner Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards Producing clear and efficient encounter visit notes that showcase strong medical decision-making, comprehensive differential diagnoses, and relevant, well-structured care plans What You'l Bring A Board-certified physician (MD or DO) degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required At least 5 years of primary care experience, including adults and pediatrics Active, unrestricted physician licenses in a minimum of 15 states, including: At least 2 of the following: California, Texas, or Florida Preference given to candidates with active licenses in: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington At least 1 year of remote work experience preferred Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills A self-motivated and independent work style, with a strong capacity for teamwork and collaboration Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage your time effectively in a remote work environment Adaptability to evolving technology, including AI-driven tools and digital platforms What We Offer Rate: $110-135/hr The rates listed for this position reflects what Curai Health reasonably and in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base rate will depend on a variety of factors, including your qualifications (such as licenses), and shift/schedule.
