About the role

Crosswalk Health is hiring contract Respiratory Therapists or Pulmonary Function Technologists to perform pre/post albuterol spirometry at primary care clinics in Southern Orlando. The onsite role includes patient coaching, safety monitoring, result grading and upload, equipment maintenance, and local travel within a 45-minute radius. Candidates need bedside or complete PFT experience and knowledge of albuterol side effects. Availability is two to five days weekly; English-Spanish fluency is desired.

• Required certification: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) OR Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) OR Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)

What You’ll Do

Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device
Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
Monitor patient safety during procedures
Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols
Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site

Qualifications

Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration
Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology
Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius)
Not required but desired bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Available two to five days per week

$1,200 - $1,500 a week
