[Japan] Specialist, Group Accounting

About the role

Santen seeks an accounting specialist in Osaka to support the manager as a financial-closing leader. The role covers consolidated and standalone closing, statutory disclosures, fixed assets, cost accounting, tax filings, treasury, internal controls and related accounting, tax and finance work. Responsibilities include IFRS-based reporting, global tax issue proposals, audit and tax authority discussions, regulatory research, process improvement and mentoring junior staff.

Key requirements

• • 日商簿記1～2級（歓迎要件：公認会計士資格）
• • Required skills: Accounting and tax knowledge and practical experience at a level enabling discussions with audit firms and tax authorities, Practical experience in consolidated and standalone financial closing at headquarters, Practical experience preparing statutory disclosure documents, Knowledge of IFRS and Japanese accounting standards, Advanced Excel skills, Intermediate or higher PowerPoint skills, Leadership to collaborate autonomously with stakeholders and drive work, Objective analytical ability, Logical thinking, Negotiation, Communication
