About the role
Contract/1099 respiratory therapy role serving primary care clinics in Lafayette, New Orleans, and Shreveport, Louisiana, with local travel within a 45-minute radius. Duties include pre/post simple spirometry, patient coaching, safety monitoring, equipment maintenance, quality protocols, and remote result upload. Daytime weekday scheduling is available two to five days per week. Certified pulmonary function testing technicians may also be considered.

- • Required skills: Experience performing bedside or complete pulmonary function tests (PFTs), Simple spirometry testing, including pre/post albuterol testing, Understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration, Respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology, Patient preparation and coaching during testing, Patient safety monitoring, Testing equipment maintenance and quality and safety protocols, Independent work, Local travel within a 45-minute radius
