About the role
Contract role for Respiratory Therapists or Certified Pulmonary Function Testing Technicians performing pre/post albuterol spirometry at primary care clinics in Metro Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia. Duties include patient coaching, grading and uploading results, safety monitoring, equipment maintenance, and local travel within a 45-minute radius. Daytime weekday scheduling is available two to five days per week.
Key requirements
- • Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration
- • Required skills: Experience performing bedside or complete pulmonary function tests, Simple spirometry testing, including pre/post albuterol testing, Understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration, Respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology, Patient preparation and coaching during testing, Accurate grading and remote upload of test results, Patient safety monitoring, Equipment maintenance, Following quality and safety protocols, Independent work and local travel within a 45-minute radius
