About the role

Penda Health is hiring two full-time, on-site Community Oral Health Officers for Kitengela and Umoja 1. The role covers examination, diagnosis, preventive and curative care, patient education, records, supplies, outreach and quality improvement. Applicants need a Diploma in Community Oral Health or BSc in Oral Health, valid KMPDC practising licensure, and at least two years of post-internship clinical dental experience.

Key requirements

• • You hold a Diploma in Community Oral Health or a BSc in Oral Health from a recognised institution.
• • At least 2 years of relevant experience
• • Required skills: Patient examination and diagnosis of common oral conditions, Preventive and curative oral care, Patient oral-health education, Clinical collaboration and referral, Confidential patient-record management, Supplies and equipment management, Community outreach, Continuous quality improvement
• • Professional registration/licence with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) (Kenya)
