About the role
Contract respiratory therapists or pulmonary function technologists perform pre- and post-albuterol spirometry at primary care clinics in the Kansas City area. Duties include patient coaching, safe albuterol administration, monitoring, test grading and upload, equipment maintenance, and quality compliance. The role is on-site, offers flexible weekday daytime scheduling of 1–5 days per week, and pays USD 245–300 per day.
Key requirements
- • Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential
- • Required skills: Bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing, Pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing, Safe albuterol administration, Patient education and coaching, Patient monitoring during testing, Uploading and grading completed testing, Testing equipment maintenance, Clinical quality and safety compliance, Professional communication, Ability to commute to clinics throughout a region
