About the role
Contract role for a Respiratory Therapist or Pulmonary Function Technologist performing pre- and post-albuterol spirometry at primary care clinics in the San Antonio area. Duties include patient coaching, albuterol administration, monitoring, grading and uploading tests, equipment maintenance, and quality compliance. The schedule is Monday–Friday daytime, with flexible availability of 1–5 days per week. Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.
Key requirements
- • Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential
- • Required skills: Performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing, Pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing, Safe albuterol administration, Patient education and coaching, Monitoring patients during testing, Grading and uploading completed testing, Maintaining testing equipment, Following quality and safety standards
- • Required certification: CRT or RRT or CPFT or RPFT credential
- • Required language: English
